Competition rules
Photographs, videos and audio files that capture the spirit of the phrase "¡VÍVELO!" ("Live it!") can enter the competition.
- • The competition is open to our students, those that intend to study with us one day, their friends and relatives, staff at International House, teachers... In other words, anyone who wishes to participate.
- • Material entered for the competition must be previously unpublished (you cannot take material off the Internet which is not your own, in other words)
- Photos (as .JPEG files only) should not exceed 2MB.
- • Videos (preferably .MPG files at 640x480 with MP3 sound) must not exceed 2 minutes in length or 500MB. QuickTime .MOV, and Windows .AVI video files are also acceptable.
- • Audio files (MP3 only) must not exceed 1 minute in length or 1MB.
- • Files should be sent to study@bcn.ihes.com. In case of difficulty sending them, please contact the Marketing Department on +34 93 268 4511.
- • Files may also be submitted to the Marketing Department (C Floor) on CDs or USB drives
- • Participation in the competition presupposes acceptance that your photograph, video or audio file may be published on our websites.
- • Each competitor may enter up to 3 different files.
- • Files must be accompanied by a written description (in Spanish, English, French, German, Italian or Catalan) of up to 50 words and by relevant personal details of their author (name and surname; nationality; postal address, contact phone number and email). Note: Under no circumstances will your personal details be revealed to third parties.
- • PRIZES Two prizes will be awarded. The two winners will be able to choose either an iPod Touch or a one-week intensive Spanish course (20 hours) with accommodation included (B&B with host family or in a shared apartment), in any of our destinations. The Spanish course must be taken within one year of the publication of the names of the winners.
- • The prize is transferable to another person.
- • The closing date for entry is 13 July 2008.
- • Prize winners will be made public on 18 July 2008. The jury will comprise 7 members, 4 from IH and 3 randomly chosen from among current IH students.
